The Texas Stallions are a year round Youth Track & Field team.
Our Team is divided into 3 programs:
Indoor: Primarily for High School Athletes to experience Indoor track. The program is a highly technical season, building on High School training. Practices are short and to the point. They are held on Saturdays and one evening. Athletes learn advanced drills and advanced skills on using blocks, starts, run form and throwing drills. Meets are at colleges and are chosen to expose athletes to potential College scouts.
Indoor Fees : $185 *²Summer: Designed for all ages from 7 through 18. The team will compete in AAU, USATF and TAAF. Athletes will be coached in multiple track and field events, exposing them to as many different disciplines as possible. Athletes are encouraged to try everything! Practices are twice per week changing to 3 per week. The team will participate in District and Regional Qualifiers and also National and State competitions. The Summer Team will travel local, state and nationally.
Summer Fee : $199 *²Spring. The spring program is for new athletes of any age or ability to learn the basics of Track and Field. Athletes are introduced to all the basics required to participate in the summer program and also to prepare them to attend an end of season full Gulf Track meet. Athletes are encouraged to take a Track event and also try a field event. Athletes are taught drills, starts, run strategies, finishing, endurance, conditioning exercises and much more. This program will also stand them in good stead to be ready to join a school athletics program and at the very least have the basic understanding to begin training.
Spring Fee : $175 *³
*² Additional costs include competition uniform (available from the Team Store) and meet entry fees.
