Texas Stallions - 2021 Season update

We hope everyone is keeping safe and well and following all official guidelines.
The 2021 season is approaching and we have some news.
We have decided to suspend the Spring season for 2021 due to the current spike in cases in Harris and Montgomery Counties. We are obviously sad to suspend a popular program but we will be back in 2022!
Our Summer season is still an unknown as far as meets are concerned. The AAU Junior Olympics are due to be staged in Houston (Humble) in July. There is uncertainty around that as availability of Stadiums and facilities is unknown. The AAU Gulf Region is also looking at facilities and logistics of holding any events - local meets, District meets, Regional meets and the National Championship. Regardless of what happens, we expect that any meets will be severely restricted and controlled.
The Stallions will begin to hold controlled practices in mid-April. This will start with pre-conditioning for Summer. We will review any meets that are scheduled and discuss with the Team. All practices will be tightly controlled - masks are required for ALL (spectators and Athletes). Athletes may train without masks but will be kept distanced from other Athletes. Warm ups and workouts will maintain social distancing. New Athletes will be prepared and trained specially.
More information will be published as we get closer to April.
Our goal will be to keep all Stallions safe & well. We will train to compete and be ready to go on any given race day.Thanks!
